West Ham

I liked the club - good people in charge in the 70s. Messrs Cearns and Pratt. I did a bit of work there many years ago for a short time in the Commercial Dept. I liked the Anne Boleyn pub. Sadly with Moyes - the winner - in charge I can see them slipping away. Only what the porn magazine barons and their typist deserve.

I rememebr Reg Pratt, Chaoramn of West Ham at the time, stainding up to address a League Meeting in London and starting with, "Pratt, West Ham United" Took him a long time to live that one down.

I'd love to see them go down for Moyes and their stupid f***ing stadium. Worst away day I've ever been on that one. Feel for Thier fans but I'd love to see the owners fucked . Disgraceful decision what happened there and it's better for football in general if they go tits up

Never minded West Ham,loved Upton Park as an away.Moyes and Brady however are f***ing cretins.

New ground is shite anarl
You obviously never went there in the 70s or early 80s - horrible scary place. Just ask anyone who was there the day we drew 3-3 with them in Feb 1979 - it was hell on for our supporters every time we scored.

Imagine the financial problems if the tax payers hadn't given them a free stadium?
they dint. they are payng millions a year for it. they have already paid more for it than safc paid for the SOL...
Never before has a club lost all sense of what it was like WHU since moving to the London Stadium. Upton Park was such an important part of that club and now they play in a hollow athletics ground in a part of London where no sod lives.

Give it 20 years and they’ll be building a new stadium.
their ground is right in the centre of stratford..the county town of their borough and within walking distance of the homes of thousands of people.

Their old ground was absolutely f***ing shite. If you stood at the back row on the bottom tier there was a good chance you couldn't see one of the corner flags.

Been there, done that. Any ball in the air disappeared from view too.

The new stadium was intended to catch all the neutrals and tourists who wanted to see a PL game. It will attract the Japanese and Yanks like the Fulham "neutral end". It's the only way they'll get 60k.

Tbf, the Fulham neutral end is quality. We sold most of it out every time we went. Fulham is probably my favourite old ground, sure it doesn't have concourses etc but the view is decent, the location is decent and it's easy to get tickets for it due to being allowed in the entire end.

It's never neutral when we play there. It is certainly the best ground to visit for a match in London.

They are a no mark club who have never won the league or even finished runners up, at best they have only finished third place on one occasion.

You would know you probably a penthouse around there somewhere.

If they do stop up it will be by default as somehow there are 3 worse teams than them. But no doubt Moyes' media mates will make it out how he came in and saved them. There's a piece in The i paper today saying something similar about his last spell there. I really do hope he takes them down

On current form it appears, neither Villa, Bournemouth, Watford or West Ham want to stay up, I don't think any have won a game since the season restarted

West Ham have the easiest run in after tonight, Watford A, Villa H, Norwich A, Mags A, Burnley H, Man Utd,
Even the oxygen thief should get 7 or 8 points from that lot

If Bournemouth don't beat the scum tonight they are gone

Can't see Norwich or Bournemouth staying up. Villa fans are like the mags but at least villa have won something in living memory so despite Moyes it's villa for me to go down.
