West Brom

I remember them winning the old 3rd division playoff final against Port Vale in the early 90’s I think. When I was first getting into football they had an excellent side with the likes of Regis and Robson. Think they qualified for Europe a few times then.
 

I'm sure we signed Don Goodman from third division West Bromwich Albion for a then club record fee in December 1991. Goodman was famously cup-tied for our run to the 1992 FA Cup Final having played and scored for the Baggies in the first round of the competition.
 
The last manager and now this Eric Ramsey look absolutely woeful appointments which isn’t helping things. Mepham has been terrible for them apparently which is obviously surprising.

Devastating - my oldest pal was a massive Baggies fan, sadly he passed away in the middle of 2024 though I'm glad he's missing the current malaise, we were pals for 52 years, went to many Baggies v SAFC matches over that time.

I went to the Hawthorns last season in his memory with his two sons and a nephew, saw the 2-1 win v Watford and we're hoping to get to the Ipswich game this season and bring them a bit of luck.

Best of luck for the rest of the season, I sincerely hope you turn it around.
