no they weren't. the mags don't like red at all. we have black in our club colours and have had black away strips.
The one on the far right as you look at itI recall for the League Cup final it was essentially 'reverse rules apply', in the sense that people who normally wouldn't be seen dead in a footy top generally donned colours because it was a special occasion.
This year I reckon I'll go for a scarf. But which one? Obviously not the snide one where 'AFC' is missing off the badge.

I had a reverse scarf when I was a bairn - but it was mainly white with red and black stripes - fookin loved that scarf - had a muddy football print on it from when someone - I think it might have be Bob Lee missed by a mile and hit my scarfwhen i was a kid there were more of them, my dad and grandad included.

familiar with mainly red one too.I’ve got one similar to that from the 70’s. Also a mainly white one with red and black stripes.
