Well played Stoke

I’d totally forgot they had Dwight Gayle playing for them.
He is a superb Championship level striker and it showed today.
We should’ve been in for him when he left the Mags
We couldn't get within 20 grand of what Stoke are paying him per week.

We love to oblige struggling teams/players

Let's all turn up to show Alex Neil.

The fucker was a circus before the game even started. It was pathetic and those who turned up wanting that shit sharp fucked off when we started to get embarrassed.

Gutless performance, under performing players and a manger/ head coach who is too old to try anything other than the formation that has got him this far.

They have battered us at the SOL two times in a row. Although the last time was in the prem. Anyone remember when Shaqiri and Arnautovic tore us apart? They had a quality team back then.
Think big crouchy outjumped your keeper to score as well , we had a quality team then and now we are light years away from that

I don't know if there are Stoke fans on here but I know that the odd one or two will be viewing this forum and kind of getting the impression that we have the God given right to win and we hate getting beat, they were the better team on the day.
Yeah. Maybe we saw today the potential Neil sees in the club which tempted him away from us.

Despite us laughing at him all season they are only 6 points behind and we are in free fall.

Pleeease!
He has been shafted by our recruitment team who need to start spending money to buy experience. Neil told us that when he left
They are not even buying to fill positions just recruiting loads of kids to sell on. How many wingers do we have now?

That was his first goal in how many & on a lot of wonga
Alex Neil had his tactics spot on they bullied and hurried us and it didnt help we had a horrific day at the office

that’s all teams have to do to us unfortunately even after 4seasons in league one & half in the championship

it’s an issue we still haven’t addressed

Was nowt in it till that BS 1st goal when they should have given us the ball back and we could arguably have had a pen for their keeper punching our player in the air but then we were chasing the game and that played perfectly into their hands. They’re still a shite team but appeared to play the best they have this season yesterday. Typical

But that would have cost money which we don’t have

And the next four games all against top six sides

Haven't seen it as was at work but equally there shouldn't be Stoke fans crowing about today's result, because at the end of the day we're 16th in the league and have finished in the bottom half four seasons in a row despite spending millions. We have a lot of work to do.

I can understand the frustration. I said before a ball was kicked this season that this league is crap and I still stand by that so can understand the frustration at not winning a game at home in this league. I can reel off a number of sides we should have beat this season but didn't despite absolutely dominating them.

Ultimately I'm just pleased we've got 3 points and are inching away from the drop and heading into a summer where we can start to invest in players again, where hopefully we've learned our lesson somewhat and will start to invest in good players rather than players either at their peak or just past it.

Neil's first window was decent in that respect so hopefully a sign of things to come for us.

👍
Well done for yesterdays result Oakey. Our youngsters were totally overrun by your more experienced Championship team. Its a learning curve for our players this year and its obvious that at times they will fall short.

I thought you hit us on the break very well , dominated the midfield and bullied our more less experienced team. You probably played better at Blackpool and lost but everything went for you today. This could be the start of a decent end of season for you and then with signings in summer then you maybe a contender next year.

One thing i didnt like was Dwight Gayle.......hes a strange looking bloke isnt he .....his goal celebrations were un called for....they were hardly memorable goals but I suppose the zombie like weasel enjoyed it

Couldn’t believe he scored two yesterday as he’s been totally shit all season for us , his celebration was way over the top though , he’s an experienced professional not a kid on the park , yes celebrate with your teammates but no need run over and give all Billy big bollocks to the opposing fans
