Well done to Dan Neil

I am so pleased for him and Jack Clarke. They are a huge part of how we got here. We could well see Ross Stewart in the Premier League next season. I think they would get a good reception too.

He's in another promotion party and has done his bit. Not sure but when I looked he was playing quite a few games , so he has done well.

Neil will end up somewhere like Rangers, which would be a cracking move for him.

Clarke I’m not sure, but it’ll not be with Ipswich. Maybe Burnley or Wolves?

Be interesting to see if he makes it 3 next year somewhere

He will be on the radar of any Championship club with promotion ambitions next season. Good squad player with plenty of experience at that level. I can see him going to whoever loses in the playoffs or maybe Burnley.

Clark early doors was asked to play as a no10 which didn’t work and it seemed tobyake a hell of a lot of games for the penny to drop for McKenna. Clark wide left doesnt fit NcKenna style , so hom scoring some important goals is a credit to the lad. I’d love to see hom in PL playing as a winger. CANT see it at Ioswich mind.
Yeah McKenna seems an odd ball type. Always liked Clarkey of course. Loads of potential. Was sorry to see him leave and I feel he would have improved and thrived under this current setup. Was always a poor move for me Ipswich.

He’s a strange manager. I’ve never seen a manager rotate a team quite as often. It seems the entire midfield and forwards play a game, get subbed off, then come on as sub the next game then repeat. I think anybody could’ve got promoted with that squad and he still only just scraped it.
Why he insists on playing Wes Burns is beyond me.

if i were both of them, i'd go and play in Europe while they're still reasonably young if these teams don't think they're up for the EPL
Lots of players have done that and ended up coming back to the EPL
You think it’s easy for players to choose to go and play in Europe, of course it will be if you’re happy to play in a lower league for a less prominent team, I don’t see any of the top five teams in either Germany, France, Italy or Spain wanting either of these two and they certainly wouldn’t pay the wages that they both think they’re worth.

Next move should either be abroad or Scotland, no point going back to the Champo as he’ll get a reputation as a Champo plodder

To be a good centre dm you do not need to be ronaldhino just disciplined with a defensive mindset he has the ability to play there in the prem just never got the chance !
I was a big fan of Neil and defended him against very unfair criticism last season. I thought he was our Player of the Season. I didn't think for one minute he was capable of playing in the Prem though, he isn't quick enough, both physically and speed of thought. Also don't think he is physically strong enough.

Also, when I say 'not physically quick enough', the obvious retort is that Xhaka is hardly pacy, nor is Henderson who has played well there for Brentford. But their positioning and reading of the game is absolutely top class, which Neil doesn't have. He was often just a fraction too slow in the Championship and the Prem is a much quicker league.

Shame he never got a proper chance in the premier league here! Two promotions in two seasons is some achievement! jack Clarke showing what a player he is! congrats to both!

Mate, he wasnt evena regular for these man. Hes a half decent championship player, nowt else. Regardless what his fatha spouts on linkedin cos thats all he does.

Neil will probs be at Boro next year deeing it all again

I'm pleased for them both . Not long ago Clarke was our only chance of winning a game .
Neil was an integral part of our two seasons to get here .
I find the constant bitching about them really odd . Usually starts with " pleased for them but"
"
Just let them have their careers and remember the part they played in our journey
