Wearing a replica top..

I have an SAFC lightweight jacket, and a polo shirt ill wear when we go out and about sometimes.

The replica shirt I wear matchdays (sometimes) and around the house, in the garden.

If it wasnt a tradition that I get one from the bairn for my birthday, I probably wouldn't buy one myself

This season was the first time I’d worn a football shirt since I was in my late teens because I thought this seasons top was quality, I love the away top.

Ironically, if you’re worried about being a fashionista, I’d say sports tops of all sorts are in vogue atm. I work with loads of young adults and varieties of footy tops and F1 gear is all the rage…on lasses and lads

I think it's unclassy to wear any clothing with writing on it prominently displayed. I refuse to be a walking billboard. I buy football shirts only to line my rumpus room ceiling.

I only have the pre match training top from last season (sexy ship detail one) and with living near Leeds it can just get some random chat going at least. Camping this weekend pitched next to a family from Burnley so that lead to a nice intro and we all got on canny...

BUT... stereotype alert... any mag sees it and they go on the attack straight away!? Had an absolute whopper a few months ago saying something to me - in front of the kids - and there was just no need. He shat himself when I replied in no uncertain terms that I thought he was lower than scum for doing so. Told him at the end that he develops half a brain cell I will happily discuss actual football with him, but went quiet after that. Absolute cliche speaking shit for brains...

Just seen a bloke in his mid 60s say wearing a red n white replica top.Is there an age where this sort of behaviour stops becoming acceptable?Bear in mind I'm also in my 60s and would like a bit guidance.Do I stick with Greenwood's or follow his lead ?
Ah the yearly thread on this. Let people wear what they want.

Replica tops scored at 1-1 on the flight out to Tenerife. As luck would have it the mag was sat on our aisle seat, sound lad.

Mackem lad few rows in front. A Sunderland fan lost their phone on the bus onto the plane and a huge cheer went up (some boos) when the stewardess said a Sunderland fan had lost their phone.

1-0 to the mags in the hotel. Only football top I've seen, fat mag in his 60s who's not left the bar
