Unfortunately our fans would also need rinsing after some of the comments and abuse towards the lads who have done nothing wrong and tried to create an atmosphere, thankless task
 
@Spiritof73 what would it take to keep things going, both in terms of fan support and stuff from the club?

I’ve really enjoyed seeing what you do and have contributed previously, but in terms of volunteering I haven’t done that for many years (many moons ago I was involved in Ha’way the Flags, which long pre-dated Wor Flags, so don’t let those fuckers make out like the invented the concept!). Well, I’d like to change that and help out in some way if it would perhaps change your minds. Maybe others feel the same?
 
Reading some of the f***ing idiotic shit on Twitter over the last few weeks has been mind-numbing. Cannot blame any of the people involved for sacking it off. Lads and lasses trying to improve the matchdays for everyone for no real personal gain and weird fuckers just couldn't handle it for some reason.

Saying that, I do hope yous get the itch to do it again in the future 'cause they were mostly excellent displays.

Given some of the stuff they've had thrown at them, a lot of it libellous, why would anyone want the hassle.
If the club want a display, let them fund and organise it.

Displays have all been superb.

'Wearside' on Saturday looked fantastic.

The cats eyes in the East stand is a sight that will stay in my mind forever. A very powerful image for myself and one I'm very grateful for as I was sat with my wife and kids and we were all in awe.

You'll be back 😉

It looked amazing , the effort you lads and lasses all put in was fantastic.

The fact the club have never really supported you when wor flags seems to be given thousands.

Well i think that you can all keep you're heads raised high as i believe that you have been doing an amazing thing, it is sad but understandable that you feel the need to stop due to the toxic vitriol of keyboard warriors i am sure that the vast majority of the true fans appreciated you're efforts over the past years and i would like to thank you for you're previous endeavours.

Haway man, look at the font and the lay out of the letters, i was embarrassed stood opposite this to be honest, said to my mate The bloody mags will have field day with this, and from looking at twitter they have, are these not planned out precisely from a seating plan or have we just wung it, holes in the letters look odd, last E bigger than the first, odd sized W,
