So what day should they have picked? They have packed in because of ?fans? like you, a lacklustre ownership and chose a fitting display and day to do it.

Display was beautiful in its simplicity. Take a bow lads and lasses involved. The effort gone into organising and making this happen was very much appreciated here for what little it’s worth. Thank you all.

I know a lot of other clubs were doing it too but we were punished extremely harshly @harryCLSsafc did a great write up about the scandal. He said (the effect of the punishment) to SAFC was like if you can imagine man united losing sir Alex at the height of his powers at United.

No problem with the display. Like I said many times already.. it was class.

But this thread, them saying yet again.. that they are stopping it, because of some of the fans, is pointless. It's just been done to illicit sympathy but picked the wrong day for it imo.

Everyone on here has praised the display, just no need for the ego stroking point of this thread.

Don’t really see the relevance of this tbh. Our owner spent 10k canning the original display.

In fact it just highlights how difficult a job it is to do the displays without someone hoying in 10k of it.

I think this would have read better if you had said 'a minority of our fans'.

As far as I can tell 99% of our fans appreciated and supported you in what you have done and loved the displays.

Yeah some have been critical and some downright rude but most have stuck by you all the way through. It just sounds a bit shit blaming the fans.

It's not all about the fans though.
I saw a photo last week where flags banners etc were thrown in the gangway at the back of the South Stand and left to the elements.
Plus there is the small matter of the magpie HS supervisor nit picking.
Where was he when the mags banners were going up in the BCB.
Why were the SGB flags not taken down today, yet FTM flags were not allowed.

I really think its great the effort yous put in, but Ive said before i think holding things takes away atmosphere as your stood, cant clap and shouting into piece of paper. Also, once the money is spent its gone.

Could we not have reusable banners and flags? Granted theres still storage costs but its reusable?
