This. I don't see why people wanting us to have the best possible chance (its clear to everyone how short we are) are criticised.
At present, we don't have a single senior fullback at the club, 2 of our senior centre halfs are out long term (1 of whom hasn't played for us yet, the other may not again) and we have a single senior striker who looked like he may pick up niggles last season.
Those 4 positions are the bare minimum we need with 9 days before the season starts and only 1 friendly left.
 
You're taking eye off the ball if only fixated on fullbacks, anarl.

Give us a striker to oust Stewart #1

A centre defender #2

Goalkeeper #3

Whichever fullbacks can be got #4 #5

But we can just about get by at first with the striker and centre halfs we have. We can't without any fullbacks
