Boring and uninspiring individual.
The people who have appointed him to their respective clubs over the last couple of years should be certified.
 

Wouldn't surprise me if a place is found for him in the England set up somewhere down the line. Has loads of knowledge to pass on, bags of experience etc etc

Be interesting to see how is media mates talk about it

Exactly. Having ability with the ball at your feet and being able to follow a coach's instructions doesn't mean you are able to devise tactics, communicate them and manage and motivate multiple personalities.

When I was growing up and a manager came on the telly I'd always ask my dad 'was he a good footballer?' His response was invariably 'he was alright.'

Apart from Jack Charlton, none of the 1966 World Cup winning team, achieved much ?
Not sure how many tried being a manager, but know that Nobby Stiles had a go ?

Stiles iirc took over for a bit when Bobby Charlton left Preston

He didn’t succeed either

You could go on a bit to Bryan Robson who was a top player for England who never really cut it at management

Is it true he wasn’t being paid a wage? Read a comment saying he was on expenses only.

Makes you wonder what goes through the heads of the folk who make these appointments..failed miserably last time..personality of a gnat..aye let's get him in.
