Somewhat off topic but my auntie’s house ( Coburg St, Gateshead) was used as the B & B gaff that Michael Caine was staying at in Get Carter.
I remember the scene where he ran after someone from the house and caught him 2 minutes later. He must have been bloody fast as it was the Oxford Galleries ( now the Gate ) in Newcastle where he collared him.

You sure? It not where the football pitch scenes were filmed? I was trying to work that out, thought it was the one under the Tees Flyover but the Beacon would make sense - couldn't really tell either way.
