All he offers is running and effort. Fair play to him for getting his head down and stickimg in but he's short of the quality needed to improve the side.

He might be worth a place on the bench to be brought on in the latter stages of the game to chase down defenders.

Can't really compare ,Vardy is the perfect example of lack of competition the forward area,if Bent was around now at his best would walk into current squad.

Wilson is 1 goal short of Vardy's best total at this level and has age on his side. Would've been a much better option.

Im not arguing it to be honest that Wilson looks a canny player, my main point is I don't think vardy is what the media have suggested etc and definitely not an international player just a player taking advantage of injuries to others really

Because they don't play the same position, Vardy plays LW and Defoe is a ST. Defoes competition is with Rooney, Kane and Austin.

Vardy is just back up to Welbeck anyway while he's injured.

Defoe has been playing on LW though hasn't he? My point was that Defoe shouldn't be picked, my point is players like Vardy shouldn't be picked

You could play him there but I prefer him more on the right as well. Jay Rodriguez could be in with a shout when he gets his fitness back up but for now I think Vardy is a decent selection.

Definitely need Welbeck in form for the Euros.

Vardy is shit. 1 in 5 record for Leicester in the chanpionship mainly and a bit in the premier league. Nearly 29 so not the future either. Utterly woeful.

And sterling is tearing the league up for man city on the left....
