I'd sling it out. Authorities and fans need to put their big boy pants on and just accept the refs decisions. You'd hope most to be right, but also expect there to be some wrong. Especially with the amount of seemingly organised cheating that goes on. How many poleaxed players writhing around on the ground,, suddenly jump up and sprint after the play, when the ref ignores them.
Refs have a very difficult job, especially when broadcasters show instant replays. Ban the replays, and get on with the game. That's not going to happen though.
For the record, my impression was that Ballard had his hand on the top of the players back and may have pushed, and got a handful of hair. Yellow card.
