Urgent work laptop advice needed lads/lasses

Mine died today and need to replace it promptly with another 17inch (for cad), mainly just used for word, cad, emails etc, need something reliable, this Lenovo one apparently motherboard gone after 2 1/2 year, approx. £250 to renew so presuming not worth it.

Personally I would go for an i7 but there’s no way you need to pay that much. I run AutoCAD on a 5 year old i7 and it’s fine. Running 2010 mind.

If its gonna move around get the Dell if its desktop replacement get the hp. There's a reason so many journos use Dell and lenovos, they are hard to break.

I have Autocad 2018 on my laptop (only use it for sketching and checking drawings now) and I hate the ribbon.
