Lower leg that was injured I mean
wouldn't even bother with a GP, unless it gets you seen by a specialist quicker. I'm sure many a player has had similar and received a PET scan.

It can only be soft tissue damage of some sort and thebody is funny like that. The injury site was in a different place for where the patient is complaining about symptoms and pain.

Had the same problem, found out I had a blockage,or narrowing of the artery in my groin, long story short, needed to have a stent put in my iliac artery to help with the blood flow.

I was struggling driving the other day mate my leg was aching, wasn't worried about It at first but I've been resting it yesterday and today and still no better
Buy a tens machine for pain relief until you get checked
Might push the pain up and out of that area if it's nerve related

Are they any good them machines? Might be worth a try until I get checked

I had something similar, turned out to be Arthritis in the Hip. Had the ultrasound, MRI and x-ray, hopefully it's not this bad for you, have to wait 12 to 18 months for new one or pay £14000 now and get in week from same surgeon!
Feel your pain If you have to wait 12 to 18 months for a new hip hope you get sorted. I fell over at work a couple of weeks ago and injured my lower leg but just seems odd that the pain Is now In my upper leg.

Has anyone else suffered from the same and Is there any relief from It. Been suffering from It for a few weeks now, I know to much info but struggle to sit on toilet seat without there being pain and getting out of bed in morning is a struggle, it's not really painful but it's a dull ache and just feels like my upper leg Is dead.
Trapped nerve.

Had one for years after picking up footy injuries etc
Bad backs , missus in labour ( they tell you not to use for that bit worked a treat and he's healthy and 18 now ! ) .
When i paid for local physio 20 years ago he used to plonk one on and leave me half an hour .
They scramble the pain and confuse the brain apparently.

Without trying to cause panic all I’ll say is get it checked asap and don’t let the useless GP’s fob you off.

My brother kept going with a pain in his knee for nearly a year before finding out he had cancer.

Chances are yours isn’t half as serious but you never know. Don’t wait. And don’t accept ‘it’s just off the back of an old injury, do this, do that’.

Get proper scans.

Got an appointment tomorrow morning with my gp, hopefully nothing serious I'm just expecting them to tell me to rest It but they might send me for scans. I can't even fasten my laces now because of the stiffness and pain in leg when I bend down

Me with the hip mate, our lass fastens laces.

It is not entirely surprising that an injury to the lower leg might eventually cause upper leg pain. Your body is all connected and any slight biomechanical issue in one area can eventually work its way along the chain. My best guess is you have been compensating by changing how you walk or do routine tasks without even realising.

In your situation I would consider booking in for a private physio to try and work out what is going on. I have been through NHS for physio but it takes a long time.

The above is only my uneducated ramblings and not meant as medical advice. As with anything health related if you have any cause for concern whatsoever please do see a doctor.

Push for scans as much as you can. What you’re describing isn’t normal and certainly not something common. It may not be something ‘serious’ as such, but still isn’t normal.
