There are also lots of H&S stories accepted as gospel that are bullshit. A good example is the one that schools are not allowed to grit the paths when it is icy. It is repeated on here every year. It has been proven to be bullshit yet people still believe it to be true and worryingly, some schools might not even grit the paths for fear of getting sued.

It was a morgue at times but it was fun.

SOL with standing areas would be perfect and much better than RP of the last 20 years of it's life.

Mind I loved the place when we were really awful:lol:

The build up to the match now is Sunderland at it's best. The town is buzzing and the walk over was like back in the day. The final days of Roker had a trickle of people going over the bridge.

I took the bairn to a kids party at her house once. A thoroughly pleasant middle class mum. Didn't come across as a major fan of The Toon.

Apart from the shrine to Jackie Milburn in the downstairs bog. (I made that bit up)

I agree. There should be IQ tests both for people wishing to have children and/or drive a car.

Too many other people at risk of suffering when scratters and thickos are allowed to do things they really shouldn't be doing.
