Two tier does not exist...

BREAKING: Daniel Frost has been jailed for pushing a bin at police officers during disorder in Southampton on Tuesday.

District Judge Anthony Callaway sent the case to be sentenced at the city's crown court after telling the court the offences were "too serious" for the powers of the magistrates' court.

He has been remanded in custody until sentencing in Ju

Admitted guilt to violent disorer (threw several bins and a chair at police) and In possession of a weapon.

Has there been another episode like this recently so we can determine if there's two tier?

Looks like we are swinging back again to the courts are two tier and it's okay to attack police (with some).

Throwing, not pushing
4 bins and a chair.
History of public disorder offences x 4
Goaded police with offensive weapon.
History of carrying bladed articles.

What point are you trying to make?

That if a foreigner admitted guilt for violent disorder after throwing 4 bins and a chair at police and had an offensive weapon (and with a history of violence) they'd just get let off.

Probably.

I know

Pleaded guilty to avoid those horrible English juries?

You’ve only got to watch the telly to see most of the people police arrest say they are addicts, suicidal, injured, on drugs / drunk, claustrophobic, have mental health problems or anything else to not get arrested. Guess they just stop taking on face value what people say when they turn up to stuff 🤷‍♂️ in this case it’s led to someone not getting treated and what’s happened.

Doubt it’s anything to do with race at all, just too used to dealing with messed up people who lie about everything.
You've nailed it. I said this on another thread. EVERYONE lies to police. About exactly what you say. It's very easy for cops to become cynical, jaded, tired, fatigued, lazy, arrogant and everything in between.

Problems is when people tell you stuff, you still have to act no matter how many times the same person tells you the same thing, every time you seen them.

Someone says they're suicidal and going to kill themselves for the 15th time that week, you still talk to them, still spend time with them, still call the mental health teams and do what you can to ensure they're okay, even if they are and they're having you on. It's tiring, but if you stop then stuff like this incident happens and you can't go back.

It's not though, sad that you didn't know that...
Christian name is just the general name for our first names. Even if you haven't been baptised it is still used to describe your first name and it's commonly used.
If calling it that upsets you so much just do what non Christians do and call it your given name, your fore name or whatever pleases uou. It's no skin off my nose. I can't say much more really other than I can't believe one of the argument junkies has picked this as an argument subject. Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Christian waffle aside, I knew what he meant as it was a pointless comment to make and 2 people liked the post also for some reason. I did reply earlier but he's either skipped it or got me on ignore and replied to you. Then again, his original comment was mixed up anyway as it just didn't make sense 🤪

A quick search to find a news article with a victim and attacker and the victim is referred to using the surname. This is what news articles are like if anyone had read enough of them which is probably most commenting in this thread.

Without thinking too much about it, when they use surnames there's less chance of people having the same surname than name. It may make it easier for everyone overall to know who is who throughout, especially if there's more than just 2 names.

Anyway back to the thread 😉

2 days.
Not quite " leave your weapons in the mosque" as happened in Stoke on Trent.

Why would I have you on ignore? I've never noticed you before. I didn't reply because I didn't notice an alert among a lot of others I had.
Finding another article where they've referenced the victim by their surname doesn't somehow make it right. It's awful and lacks empathy.

Below from Wiley online library.....

"Using first names for victims and surnames for offenders is rooted in both journalism ethics and criminal justice practice. It is designed to balance the privacy and dignity of victims against the public accountability of the accused, while clearly distinguishing between the two parties.

Why Victims Get First Names
  • Dignity and Respect: Using a victim's first name feels more intimate, humanizing, and empathetic. It focuses on the person rather than the trauma.

  • Avoidance of Bias: Using only first names for offenders has been shown in studies to subtly reduce perceived blame and make them appear more credible or moral. Using the surname counters this, making it clear who is responsible for the crime".
Read this from our home secretary. She at no point refers to Henry by his surname and always refers to Digwa as Digwa not Vickrum. This is how it should be done.

Someone doesn't agree with right wing thugs attacking the police being held accountable ☝️

For a plea which he pled guilty. What’s your point?
Not quite " leave your weapons in the mosque" as happened in Stoke on Trent.
Are you really trying to compare
a liaison officer addressing a group of counter protestors to police officers being actively assaulted and goaded?

They aren’t comparable in the slightest.

Stop following sensationalist accounts like The Mercian News and do some actual reading.
