University student stabbed

i agree, but to do better they need to be paid better, trained better, have more resources etc... all of this costs money and between 2010 and 2019 the police force was cut by something like 20,000
And.....there it is. Tories fault.

With more money, how's do you think the officer who cuffed a dying man because of an accusation of racism, would have reacted?

Don't you think it's something to do with more liberal views from those at the top, rather than how much cash is in the kitty?

What are my politics? You have no idea, and you don't have a clue what you're talking about, but pushing back the sheer volume of BS on this forum, and across social media & society, is impossible. Dealing with it is becoming an existential issue.

Because it isn't emblematic of systemic racism and prejudice against white people across an entire country, no matter how much certain people might want it to be. F'n obvious and tedious to deal with this.

Do you think the lack of outrage is because the international audience are wrong here, or could it be you 🫵
The lack of outrage is because people have been brainwashed for decades that racism against white people doesn't count and racism against "minorities" is the worst thing in the world, hence why the authorities turned a blind eye to white girls getting raped by Muslim grooming gangs, didn't confront the Manchester suicide bomber and took the side of the murderer in this case instead of the victim who was bleeding to death in front of them. If the races were reversed in this case there would protests, cucks taking the knee etc and you know it.

It’s an horrific case but you just know that all the usual suspects will be out to inflame things over it.

Protest planned for Southampton police station tonight which clearly has the potential for disorder. Luckily the weather has got colder and wetter so hopefully the far right won’t get their wish for UK wide trouble.

i think the lack of good quality police officers is mainly due to the lack of training and lack of funding. in 2019 there was over 20,000 less police officers than in 2010. i'm not saying that is responsible for what happened here. i'm saying its a factor in why we have such a poor quality police force now. under-investment always leads to that.

When will poeple admit there ia an anti white bias amongst the institutions of this country, its as if these people think this is the first time its happened.

Poor quality as in how they treat people, arrest people, drive...?

Apart from having more police, I'm not particularly sure what having more funds would achieve. I think it's an open secret how much more liberal and shall we say, open minded and lenient the police are regarding certain races and religions during the past few years. That's come from the top, not from having no cash.

I think the copper here made a really bad judgement call and that'll be down to a lack of experience and/or a lack of training. That's my opinion

You think he made a bad decision because the establishment is racist against white people. Crack on

the constant cries of "the met is institutionally racist" and the ensuing policies documented or otherwise, had literally zero effect on a young white lad, laying immobile on the floor from stab wounds, being condemned to an agonising death, despite his pleas because coppers handcuffed him, all because a Sikh lad said he was being racist.

No, I never said that, don't be all melodramatic and silly.

I do believe that on certain occasions they will be very aware of not wanting to be labelled racists though and their judgement will be biased to save their own job and prospects.

You keep blaming the Tories though.....crack on.👍

Letting anyone legally carry a bladed weapon as a religious exemption is utterly insane.

It's hard to argue against that.

I mean I own a Gerber multi-tool, that has a small locking blade on it, which technically makes it illegal, so I never carry it on my person outside and it lives in the glovebox in my campervan. Its there in case I need it for repairs, but it's in the back of mind that it's illegal.

We need to allow people to keep their religious traditions, but I'm sure that can be done with a non-bladed version with the tip removed or something like that (similar to a lot of kitchen knives on sale nowadays).

The mother is still an Indian national AFAIK. Does that mean she will be going back to India after serving her sentence? I would imagine most countries if you commit a serious crime you would be sent back. Would ask the same question if she was Australian or Canadian.

The web would suggest yes but because of her age, family here, will she be able to stay - all a bit vague.

Do you not think it's worthy of peoples frustration and anger?

Think its from having too much training of the unnecessary kind if anything.

“No you haven’t mate” Nah he just sounded like a condescending patronising wanker tbh. That’s on him and his parents as to why he’s like that.
