late 90's and I think their second album was in 2000 …. GENEVA (they were signed to same label as Suede) and they had a singer with amazing vocals.
The only song of theirs I know is Tranquiliser which is excellent and was released in 97 so no problem on the inclusion

there were actually a lot of good alternative or indie bands back in the 90's who didn't pay to join the NME hype machine back then... Baby Bird, Bang Bang Machine, Solar Race, Molly Half Head, to name just a few... or even the Siouxsie/Budgie spinoff The Creatures who released product from the 80's onwards but had a great album out in the 90's.
Breaking The Ice was one of my favourite indie songs from mid 90's... great live band and unusual vocals made them stand out at the time
