We had to carry him off the pitch a couple of seasons ago when his back went. He kept leaning to one side when umpiring to the point where our opening bowler had to actually run around him to bowl.

He still played socially until 3 or 4 years ago

He had a habit of giving no balls against our wicket keeper each season from square leg because the peak of his cap broke the line of the stumps. Still gave them when he stood back too. Funny bloke.
