ANPR not working very well with snow covering number plates.

Avoid if possible, long tail backs on the approach road.

it builds up when moving if you are driving into the snow

Makes a changes from the drivers who pull up in the permit only lane with no credit and have to sit for 2 minutes until a guy comes
over and asks what they think they're doing.

If you pull up and have no credit but the ANPR knows your plate it should let you through and charge you £3.
When you come to top up you will have a negative balance. They could allow say a limit of £30 before you get blocked.
 
Took me 90 minutes to get through the bastard this morning, oh and my plate was clean when I went through.
