Turntable Speakers

Looking at upgrading my turntable speakers, what does everyone recommend?

 

What are you upgrading from?

 

Are you a dj?

 

Used to be, not any more, just home user now

 

so is this just for listening to records or you gonna be performing sets in the front room?

Amp, budget, aesthetics? Question is far too vague.

Siting of turntable & speakers is more important than anything else & is is a "free" upgrade if done right.

 

This. Is it a turntable that has it's own built in amp and speaker outputs?

 

I use active speakers on mine. Does the job fine for where I use them. M-audio AV32's iirc.

 

No point, they'll spend half their time facing away from you.

 

Wouldn’t matter for me, I’d get told to turn them down regardless of what they were.

I got some q acoustic 3020s and have been really impressed with them

 

Surely @td586 is your go to man for all things vinyl

 

Edifier make some cracking speakers.

 

Love my alesis speakers mind. Still going strong after 15 year
