Tremlett or Bresnan?

Edgbaston tends to suit someone who can swing the ball rather than an out and out bang-in bowler so my preference would be for Bresnan. Also would keep with the four bowler policy at its served us well.

Bresnan, seems to get better with every test and Edgbaston will suit him more. Totally agree with the point made about Tremlett coming back in for The Oval though, Bresnan will need another test like Trent Bridge to have a chance of staying in the side for that 4th test.

Do you think any of those Yorky batters are good enough?

I'm not convinced by Taylor and Hildreth. Bopara is just a flat track bully and I still think it is a tad early for Stokes.

Taylor is the one to watch. I don't think a test match or two now when England are in a dominant position would do any harm if Trott is crocked. He's still only 21 and has a very healthy average of 48 in the cc. I'm sick of the sight of the sight of Bopara being mentioned. He might have the talent but he simply doesn't have the temperement for test match cricket. If he didn't turn his arm over they'd have moved on by now.
