Tickets secured today so I have paid someone with an Eastern European sounding name £14 to park on their drive. I haven't sat and done the analysis on fuel requirements or target average speed, but mark my words there'll be a sufficient amount of time set out to do just that well in advance of any journey of this nature.

It's OK. Having successfully burned the CD the MP3 file of a song I downloaded to use as an experiment to see it is works I simply copy and pasted the song to the USB. So now if I put the USB into the cars USB port it will play even though it is an MP3 file? If I call up "USB" on the cars voice command it should play?

Now I am cooking on gas where else can I download music to Windows Media Player and then transfer to CD-RW or USB other than YouTube because some songs don't allow me to download because of the country I am in.

No idea mate.

I have Ford Sync and just bluetooth straight from the phone to the car entertainment system. Saves faffing about.

I think I have the key. Next to "burn" on the WMP Library it says "Sync" and that allows me to drag and drop music in the USB device. I have just pit on "Wise Men Say".
 
Just a thought @ShieldsBlackCat2015, if I recall correctly National Express Buses take 12 hours to get to London and do pick ups on the way.

So hopefully, your following a coach with MLF on it, otherwise your in trouble?:eek::rolleyes::(
