Travelling by Car to Wembley

Wind-up? have you ever known me to wind anyone up? That is a genuine fear I have actually. Being stranded on the motorway either through lack of fuel or a mechanical issue. My No.2 fear. No.1 obvs is death. No.3 I would say is probably being stuck in the snow or skidding on ice with No. 4 a wasp attack. But that genuinely has me shitting a brick being stranded on the hard shoulder in the middle of nowhere just next to some nondescript Southern town with Southerns with their accent grating on my tits not more than about a few miles away from me!! Not knowing what I would do

I love that you’ve listed your top 4 fears.

Join the AA, RAC, Greenshield etc. Must be worth the cost for your peace of mind, if it’s genuinely that much of a fear for you.

There’s no point fearing death, it comes to us all at some point mate.

Wasp stings don’t really hurt too badly.

Southerners with their daft accents are just people too. You needn’t fear them.

I do have a number to contact for Ford Emergency Assistance. It's in my glovebox in the folder thing that includes the service history. I can also call it on my SYNC 1.0 system so long as it is connected via Bluetooth to my phone which it always is.

why did you not just go on the bus marra ? It's a canny trip to undertake for someone who's never gone further than Scotch Corner. London and back in a day is hard work

Try this....

Enter any motorway then junction number and it lists all sorts of places within a short distance of the junction. Means you can avoid the rip off service station prices. When you look like getting low on fuel just look up a petrol station.

Retuning from the Wycombe game I saw a RAC guy leaning over his bonnet crying his eyes out. I thought to myself, that bloke is heading for a breakdown

Good. Saw Capt. Marvel in 3D last night. She is OK about not going. I just hope if it is the playoffs and we get to the final the tickets will be open to buy for others.

Then I will overtake the bassa at 60 and laugh hysterically at him!!

Not if that person is a confident driver who loves driving and has goals and targets and achievements he wants to attain. I feel it would be a massive feather in my cap.

Dont worry mate I will come and help you.

You should leave super early. Maybe 4. Get to London around 8/9. Get yourself a good breakfast before heading up

I'm parking at Stanmore. We'll probably just sit and wait until it's clear and get a bite to eat. Do they split the queue for the tube after between metropolitan and jubilee lines?

They didn't when I saw Shields a couple of years ago, and that was a much smaller crowd. They just want to get people on a tube of any kind.
