Depends on whether it's Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tuesday - a nice village pub in the centre of the Wirrall well away from Birkenhead

Wednesday - Liverpool as I'll have travelled down on Tuesday.

We are planning on staying overnight either Tuesday or Wednesday depends when the game is,staying in Liverpool so few beers there then train over to Birkenhead and find a bar there for a few beers before the game

Last time I went to Prenton Park was a Friday night with Cash turnstiles and Tranmere over filling the away end cashing in... standing room only.
