The first Mag caller tonight was complaining that the big cycle race today caused him delays when he was driving in Northumberland. He bleated "why couldn't they have the race on Sunday instead of today?"

Simon Pryde, "It's on each day for several days around the country"

Mag: "Is it?"

It's called "The Tour if Britain" not "The Tour of Northumberland on a Monday" you stupid bellend.

Pryde said on tonight's show that they'd had a listener text in to say they knew nothing about what is going on with the takeover but he insisted they do and it's all down to the lawyers checking all the takeover information in full that's delaying the outcome.

Well nick barnes was on earlier and said they didnt no the reason for the delay
 
Amazed the BEEB are still persisting with it to be honest. Same, tired old regulars phoning in making the same points about "Ashlee" and multiple breaks for traffic and basketball news.
