Torn calf muscle

You’ll need to let it heal. See a physio for proper advice. In time you’ll need to build more strength in it for future use. Lots of foam rolling and stretching. Google ‘eccentric heel drops’. I find these to be the best ones for calf’s. I’m 37 and run a lot and find I have to stretch and roll my calf’s everyday
 


My kid phoned me earlier,he is studying medicine,he said you certainly haven't torn it,said you have probably overstretched it by excessive plantar flexion.
