So, someone with no interest whatsoever in football until they became 'the richest club in the world', then suddenly turns into a full kit wanker talking about 'wor clurb' at every opportunity (budget Bruce, not your godson, who clearly is someone with exceptionally good taste ).

proven to be bollocks, theres a few photos on twitter of him from years back in Mag tops, i like his music and he seems a decent kid, had to go to leeds to see him though, not sure i can endure the "magfest" at a local gig,

but certainly not going to take any delight in him having to cancel gigs just because he supports them

Two of his band are season ticket holders and lent him a training top to be interviewed in. They even take the piss because he knows nowt about football. Fair play to him for riding the gravy train but the whole Sam Fender Toon Army stuff is feeding into the cult like status of the Mags.

The gigs were never rearranged, and after a year, I eventually received a refund for the vinyls I had to purchase to get the ticket. However, I’m not sure if the refund came from him or the local record store. I asked them about it, but they didn’t respond. Didn't want them to go out of pocket due to him cancelling.

Not long prior to the refund they did post that they had no idea what was happening and that he and his management had been quiet about the situation.

My friend has now tried to see him four times and failed each time

He's obviously a good singer and his songs are decent. The mag stuff is quite cringeworthy but doesn't completely ruin him in my eyes.

However, without knowing the circumstances, he does seem to have a worrying trend to fuck his fans off at the drop of a hat. Maybes legit, but as mentioned through it's a worrying trend of his. For someone who has part of his brand built on "very real, for the people" etc.... then it's not ideal

Not having a dig at budget Bruce for blowing his throat out at all, but haven't seen a single picture of him in a mag top from way back when.

Me thinks there is a few lost mags in this thread
