Tony Mowbray

Easier to just say what it is you're actually getting at then really. Saves all these hints and statements and people saying x and you saying its not what you mean.

Do I need a working hypothesis to pass comment like? Is that how this works?

It could suggest he’s slightly sidelined. It could suggest the role and involvement of head coach in every aspect has been re-defined since the Neil saga last season. It could mean his position isn’t secure. It could mean absolutely nowt whatsoever. It’s a Sunderland discussion forum. When the head coach hasn’t been heard from it’s weird

Edit: Turns out he’s there so file it in the mean absolutely nowt cupboard

Mowbray has not made any public comment about SAFC since the end of the season. Whether it be incoming transfers, outgoing players, new contracts, the fixture list and now hasn’t been seen or heard from after two days of pre-season. They are facts. The article shared with me shows that there has been a teams conversation at an unspecified time between Mowbray and player / agent. It doesn’t make any of the previous points incorrect.

So aside from pointing some facts out and saying it’s curious, what conspiracy theory have I perpetuated?

Which may be a perfectly plausible reason as to why he isn’t at training. Still doesn’t make the lack of comment on anything else less odd like.

Any mention of anything on here that doesn’t go by the approved consensus playbook automatically gans down as conspiracy or wild speculation.

The lack of anything to do with Mowbray is odd. And pointing that out isn’t ‘just asking questions’ energy or conspiracy.

He was at the Sunderland play like and talked bit in press
