Tony Mowbray

I've watched yous a fair few times this season (sad mag aye, but I've been stuck in a lot this last year) and I think it would be a shame if he got the sack. Came in and done a great job with what he had available, and overachieved to be honest reaching the playoffs. Might have lost tonight but went down fighting and players all seemed to give their all for him.

Do yous have money to spend in the summer? If so, surely back him and give him a full season to develop the squad further and see where it ends up from there?

We won’t spend big, it’ll be very much the same approach on bringing in young players who have something to prove (on loan) or next to nothing who will increase in value.

It’s worked so far. I can’t imagine our wage bill being that high (for this level) Mowbray has done great.

However, I get the feeling the club (well
Speakman I’m particular) have another Head Coach lined up who they feel is a better fit.

It’s going to be an interesting summer.

The club need to stick with him this summer. Forget this foreign trendy name shite.

The blokes been great and has clearly built a very good understanding and culture with the players. Back him and let him go again.

Spitting absolute facts as per mate.

Tonight was a huge dissapointment but this season as a whole has been incredible.

Let's build on it and come back even stronger next season. I have complete faith those in charge know exactly what we need moving forward.

I love Mogga.

I trust those upstairs to make the right call. They've ultimately got to do what is best for SAFC and if they think they have someone better to do the job then we have to be cut throat.

Didn't want him initially but I'd stick with him to keep the harmony and flowing football.

He's been asked difficult questions of late but ultimately it was which dwarf to play where and which square object to put in a circle hole.

The injuries to Batth, Ballard, Stewart and Evans were crippling and we've still achieved something special.

Big questions to be pointed at the owner because if we go a third window without addressing the depth, it's a problem
The owners have done amazing overall but if we’d kept Wright instead of swapping for an Anderson and not been idiots over the striker situation we’d have been more competitive tonight. Too many gambles have left Mowbray pulling rabbits out of the hat and he’s done so well.

If the board decide to go a different way, then they also need to own that decision.

90 minutes from wembley with an injury ravaged squad, we back them in numbers a lot of clubs only dream off. There is no slowly build till we are ready, we are ready now, so make the call, build the squad and get us there

that's the comments of a man who knows he's going isn't it. absolutely mental decision like after what he's achieved this season. regardless of what happened tonight there's such a feel good factor around the club at the minute. they're taking a needless risk here as if the new bloke gets off to a poor start you lose all that with the inevitable why the fuck did you sack TM etc

I love the bloke.

But if he's away then so be it. It's out of my hands!

If he does go then he's given us probably the most entertaining football from the lads in my lifetime.

Added bonus of seeing the season through the bairns eyes, and money cannot buy that. As a first full season I doubt many have had better.

Almost everything has been perfect, the drama, the football, the connection with the players and staff. The only thing missing was the Wembley weekend. So near.

Tin hat on here. I really Mowbray and the football we’ve played.

BUT football is a ruthless business, and like our playing squad if KLD & Speakman think we can get a Head Coach to take us that step further we have to trust them.

There is no room for sentiment.
Agreed

I’m not convinced they’d dump him. They wanted Neil to stay and weren’t that hasty in sacking Johnson.
I’d be gutted if he goes. He could get us up with a full squad.
