Tony Mowbray

I think he's a good fit for sunderland, in a similar way to how i thought Big Sam worked at our place in a way that he didnt at other teams. not arsed if he does go, but can't think of anyone else i'd want out there right now. he seems to have a spark with the current crop of young ones we have, he's earned another shot at the championship. i have seen nothing that would make me think we couldnt go further under him if given half a chance.

We’re probably going to lose Mowbray, and added to that a few of the first teamers this summer due to the way they’ve played.

I've watched yous a fair few times this season (sad mag aye, but I've been stuck in a lot this last year) and I think it would be a shame if he got the sack. Came in and done a great job with what he had available, and overachieved to be honest reaching the playoffs. Might have lost tonight but went down fighting and players all seemed to give their all for him.

Do yous have money to spend in the summer? If so, surely back him and give him a full season to develop the squad further and see where it ends up from there?

I think he’s off like. Too much going on rumours wise from respected sources for there to be nothing in it imo. Done a great job and would be sad to see him go, but if we can improve then we should be ruthless. When you look at the hard facts of his recent career Mowbray will struggle to get that promotion.
