ALS ran an article in November 2020 which had about 10 players on it. All of these made absolutely zero contribution to the club. Gelhart is a worker, he gets stuck in, doesn't hide, he will do ok as a professional. As his touch and confidence improves he will become more effective.
Probably not for us and maybe not in the Premier League but he will do ok. Reminds me a bit of Jordan Rhodes and Ashley Barnes.

I'd give Joe Gelhardt the benefit of the doubt, extend his loan for another season and see what he's really like supporting a strike partner.
Joe Gelhardt was on a hiding to nothing in his first half season, isolated and against much bigger seasoned pros.

It's seems odd that we can forgive the shortcomings of our defence for lack of height, playing out of position etc but not our only forward.

It's pointless thinking anything positive or negative about the Mowbray issue until you see who comes in. If its struber then people will rightly be concerned.

If its somebody else then we're going to have to see how next season pans out really before we can fully judge imo.

I agree mate, of the 3 linked he is a concern though, nothing I have screams "next level"

Why, simple to slam down on the rumours and back mowbray, if not then it allows speculation to continue.
