Tony Mowbray Rumour

Wonder how many times this thread will get bumped if he does well with us

I think he would be an -ok- choice if he had a full transfer window, his own team, and the good will of the players.

As it is he comes in with 4 days of the window left, no money to spend, a bunch of inexperienced youngsters and the core of better players who resent the fact the old manager has left.

The circumstances are ripe for an implosion.

I disagree, ultimately the aim is promotion , this old twat isn't capable of getting that. He will keep us bottom 3rd avoiding relegation until we finally sack him and get back to original project that this appointment is completely at odds with.

The aim - at least this year - isn't promotion. Next couple of years maybe.

Let's see if Mowbray gets a year contract ( that Speakman waa an advocate of in Feb).

Let’s get outside the ground signing “Ho ho, hey hey, no way to Mowbray”. Some of us could glue ourselves to the floor, maybe someone can play drums on a bucket.

Why cant the club have a bit imagination?

We finally seem to be recruiting well signing players from abroad too and the best manager we can find is tony mowbray

Haway man

Just tweeted by radio Newcastle...

Sunderland have begun the process of finding a successor to Alex Neil but say Tony Mowbray has not been offered it.

They hope to appoint someone quickly but will not be rushed into an appointment.
