I reckon Mowbray might be a consultant style appointment but will oversee training and the game on Wednesday whilst we look for the head coach role to be permanently filled.

Remember how it ended last time the chairman asked an ex manager for advice with a managerial appointment? The fucker ended up with the job and it was an absolutely disaster. :lol:

He came in and really 'steadied the ship' after Strachan.
But, for some reason it didn't last and we started lookin like we were heading for league one.
Certainly at Barnsley, things started to turn 'sour' with sections of the support.
Still say though - he did ok with us considering there wasn't a lot to spend.

And finally don’t forget the Xmas death spiral and early cup exits where you won’t win a game after Xmas and you won’t make it to round three of any cup regardless of opposition. He openly admitted he doesn’t work on set pieces and never checks the league table as long as he is developing honest lads with good personality, this also means you get substitutions that aren’t based on what’s happening on the game but who hasn’t had minutes . He didn’t sign a player for us we needed because he wore ripped jeans.

When it inevitably goes tits up he will say he’d rather be with his wife and kids . Not after being sacked whilst still in charge.

The man is clueless and as the weeks go on the sound bites go from heart warming to cringe to seriously get him away from my club.

Thanks for that. I was warming to to him a little, but that’s sounds like a mixture of Advocaat Johnson and Moyes so I’m out 🤮🤮🤮

I wouldn’t be against him being involved as an adviser to a up and coming manager but not the solution.

Although I have no opinion either way of your opinion, he would be an absolute car crash of an appointment for us.
He lasted 9 months in Scotland. Six moths here and some of our fans will be made up as long as relegation wasn’t an option.
If we appoint him the owners can fuck off. And speakman will be a lying wanker.
 
I overheard an ITK mate on the phone; apparently Mowbray has got one of his winkle picker’s stuck in the AOL lift door and that is why he has not left. Donald will be furious if true, after spunking the Madrox budget on fixing it a couple of years ago.

…or could have been Winkleman seen near Mowbray park flagging a lift
