Its ironic that the goal he scored to get us in the Prem makes it look like he made the wrong choice.

So approx 25% of their pl games he's featured in, and now they're willing to loan him out - success story right there
Yeah, but apart from that he hasn't played. He's played 6 times for them in the PL.
I think it's okay to diversify. It's funny because we were linked with him in January 2025 as part of a possible Watson deal, so he's obviously been on our radar for a while
He's quick and skilful but gets knocked off the ball and makes poor decisions on what to do and when to do it IMO. I find him quite likeable and always seems positive in the club's clips even though he's having a slower season than some of the other recruits so I hope he does very well for us
He's what I would call a "floor raiser" in that he makes our squad better, but he's not a ceiling raiser in that he'll drag you to new heights with his ability. And I don't see why we needed to spend £20m for that type of player last summer
Either way, I should probably stop having a pop at Adingra in a Watson thread
Apart from THAT goal and 2 good games against Sheffield United, he never really looked that good.
Yeah, but apart from that he hasn't played.
Yes but my point is - having seen Adingra play for Brighton a fair bit - I was not expecting any of that. I’m surprised the club were so keen to get him.At age 24, a full international, with 60 Premier League games at Brighton behind him and a £20m price tag, i would expect, and i'm sure Le Bris would have expected hm to be a regular for us and doing the business.
Fair pointI beg to differ.
I'm more worried about Brighton having our pants down over 24 year old Ivory Coast International with 60 Premier League appearances for Brighton behind him before he joined us, Simon Adringa at the moment.
I'd play him ahead of Mundle and AdingraHe can’t get a game at Brighton though. Would he start here?
9 games missed due to injury/fitness. Either way, he's 19, this season isn't shit or bust for him.6 games is doing a fair bit of heavy lifting mind.
He has played 57 minutes in the PL.
He needs a year in champ , would be a class signing for any club pushing for promotion , I do think he’s got it to make it in prem in , in couple years time
A chance to play in a side pushing for promotion and maybe a guarantee of minutes? Certainly wouldn't be looking to go to Leicester who have recently sacked their head coach or Southampton.Had the choice between them, Southampton, Leicester and Stoke, so clearly the Alex Neil pull![]()
Our sales of Jobe ,Tommy W , Ross Stewart ànd Clarkey for good money look ok buisness at the minute
Mind I personally wish them all well .
He looked extremely good in a home game think it may have been stokeApart from THAT goal and 2 good games against Sheffield United, he never really looked that good.
He's averaged less than 10 minutes per game. Only twice has he got more than 4 minutes on the pitch. So approx 25% of their pl games he's featured in, and now they're willing to loan him out - success story right there
