Tommy Watson

Le fee needs to play central. We’re all praying Mundle is fit but if he’s not if the manager thinks Watson is the best next option he plays. I don’t think he will given how we played tbe play off games but for me we need to approach the finally differently. Roberts is already a concern in terms of form and impact we must have our best creative player in the middle.

At no point did I say he didn’t turn a deal down. The comment from speakman was about more recent stuff not his first pro deal. Also no other player was offered a pro deal around his deal, that wouldn’t even make sense.

You do know players are offered their pro at different times right?

Also, yes its my opinion that he is not the best option on the left. Its obviously Mundle and 99% of fans would tell you the same

He delayed signing his pro deal, its been stated as fact. Why? Well i dont know. But it doesnt exactly scream commitment does it?
I heard rumours he wanted to be offered the same terms as Rigg and wasn't happy his offer was less. Not sure how true that is or how he'd have known the details of Rigg's offer mind
But at the time Rigg had already started featuring in the first team, not sure watson had even made his debut yet

Yeah fully aware, that’s why it makes very little sense at someone would also have been offered at the same time and also done the same thing. But at least you got to chime in

its abundantly clear you have a relationship with someone involved in the club

In any work situation, when someone knows they're leaving to go to a new job, there's one of two reactions. Some go all half-arsed and just do the bare minimum, others have a sense of pride in their work, and remain professional to the end.

Regis will know which he is. I trust his call, and be fully behind Tommy if he plays.

There's a lot to motivate Watson, if he does play a part. It's Wembley - the big stage. It's the Championship Playoff final - one of the biggest, most watched, most consequential, most financially lucrative games in the English football calendar. The sort of game any player would want to be involved in, and perform well. A goal in this game would be a career highlight whatever happens in the future.

Well its been proven that its right. Hence the poster who was related to Matty Young who doesnt post anymore.
That poster stayed for ages after you said that. You also claimed he was related to cotcher at one point. This was when you were big catts. You have done it to other people as well.

Good post and spot on I’d say

If Mundle didn’t train the next day after featuring for 15 mins, then we are probably looking at bringing him on at 70 mins if we need to, with that in mind you have to play Watson

not sure who that is, but either way youre sounding a little silly.

Was listening to a podcast last night and sam parkin highlighted Roberts as a weakness for us, said he's been really disappointing and his stats are poor. Mentioned he was particularly bad against Coventry at our place. Even outsiders are noticing but people still defend him on here. For a team that wants to play on counter he's killing us as he gives ball away and breaks our moves down constantly.

He worked hard off the ball but several counters foundered with him losing the ball. I really liked Rigg on the right in extra time
