Tommy Watson

No there won't. There will be examples of one player on a lot more than most. But not 10 times more than everyone. You quoted Haaland wages. You really don't think he's on 10 times the wage of all the others in the first team.

yeh he actually is, look at the stats.

Bollocks

Was using figures as an example of one large wage massively inflating the “average”,
Yes we all know how averages work but you’re getting it all wrong. Your point about a highly paid player is right but they will also likely have a player or a low figure as well. Tell you a decent way to work out a better average, the list from the terrible source you posted brings the wage bill for Brighton to about 60m a year. Go back and double every player on its wages and then come back and tell us how many of that squad are on under 30k a week and you possibly still have somewhere up to 25m a year spare from their actual reported wage bill in official accounts.

Agreed , will easy be a few in Man City’s squad not on 30k a week. Carson and nico oriley as 2 obvious ones

How does that make Haaland on 10× the wages of ' all the others' at Man. City???

You have to go waaaay down the salary list before that happens.

You suggesting he earns 10x more than De Bruyne, Gundogan, Foden, Grealish, Silva, Rodri etc is ludicrous.

Did I say more than those players? He is earning 10x more than Doku and Savio who are starters.

Yes....you did. You stated he was on 10 x the salary of ALL the others in the first team, which is not the case. Read your response to the question.

and just like ive said, he is on more than 10x starters at city. So my friend, you are wrong.

You seem to be confused with players who will leave in the future, which is of course all of them, eventually. And a player who actively decided not to sign a new contract and signed a deal to leave mid season, after playing a handful of games…

For me he isn't near the starting 11, but him wanting away and leaving should solidify his place outside of the squad, for the biggest game of our recent history.

Neil has actively decided not to sign a new contract. As has Cirkin.

Rumoured too have. Neither have announced transfers away in February. Both have been first teamers for ages and have contributed more than he has.

Speakman confirmed Watson had no intention of signing a contract. He even piss farted about with his pro contract.

FFS man, maths not yet strong point fella. One player on 300k inflates the average massively.

11 man team, one on 300k the rest on 30k.
Puts the “average” to 55k. The reality is that over 90% of the squad are on 30k even though the “average” for each individual is 55k. Get it?
Not if it’s the mode

If I was a player I wouldn’t sign until after the season was done tbh

No. It was announced earlier in the season that Neil had ceased negotiations.

He may well still sign one later.

So now its players who haven't played much this season you dont want playing?

Ceased negotiations, not literally signed for another club

You would play him would you?
