Tommy Watson

I don't think there was a particular lack of effort (not all the time today, anyway) but good grief nothing came off for him at all. So poor.
I thought there was a massive lack of effort. He never challenged for anything that came near him, he just put his arm across the defenders chest and leaned into him a bit. Not once did he go in with the attitude that he was going to win the ball.

Thing is, they should be giving him an internal bollocking if so.
Hope they do tbh.

My worry is we're too nicey nice and it'll be let slide
That’s exactly what is happening is think, no one gets bollocking nowadays, rightly or wrongly its frowned upon
He's done for after that. RLB will surely know it's not worth having the fans turn against him for playing Watson. Loud boos or just a few fans ?
RLB makes ridiculous decisions regularly, so he will probably playing every game

He's soft as fuck . Was like that earlier in season before he got injured.

Add on the couldn't give a flying fuck attitude and we may as well be playing with 10 men

He’s probably trying to keep squad cohesion by keeping Watson involved as other players would probably take the huff if he was ostracised

I'd guess the other players are more concerned about their own futures, and trying to gain promotion to the Premier League, than they are about Tommy Watson's feelings.

He was definitely sheepish around physical contact, but I didn't think there was a notable lacking of running. He was absolutely crap though.

As was Isidor, who really needs to learn that when you're under pressure and we get the ball into his feet with his back to goal, he needs to just f*cking hold it for a second or 2, instead of daft flicks, or turning straight into people, of getting brushed aside easily. Mayenda is a different breed to Isidor, nobody is getting brushing Mayenda aside flimsily - he's going to stand strong and turn them if he can.

I blame RLB 100%, if the lad has moved on and doesn’t want to be here, fair enough, good luck to him …. but dont f***ing put him in a Sunderland shirt ffs, he clearly isn’t interested.

The telling thing for me was the way he slyed off the pitch when the rest of the players came to clap us.
I've stuck up for him loads but he was a massive jellyfish today.
