Accepting without a replacement puts the people in charge at the club on the backfoot again when they're just repairing the damage from last season. Selling in a supposed positon of strength having sold our best player earlier in the season who plays the same role when we haven't had a player fit in said role for months would open them up to question further.
The rumours folk start/believe on here are rotten imo. He’s a bairn ffs.
Nowhere near what we would receive if we sold him.

It would be part of the negotiations but not a singular defining factor. He could do nothing next year though so he may decrease in value.
Surely the main problem in a youngster running their contract down is the chance they'll go abroad. I'm not sure it's as clear cut as the domestic market and its what the likes of Mundle have done.

Look at bile when some of the lads make a mistake like give a pen away or miss a penalty or get sent off. The team is pretty much all bairns, still learning and gaining experience. We've had some proper cowards and shit bags representing us but there's none now.

No complaints from me that he’s staying. We’d have struggled to get someone in with the money this late in the day anyway. It would’ve been nice to have that Adingwra and have a LW available this month but we’ll just have to make do until Mundle is back.
A blind man can see Watson's talent. His stats for this season at a good standard of under 21's football are something like 6 goals from 6 starts from the wing. He's only 18 so playing a level higher than his age.
He's started a handful of games at senior level and got 2 MotM awards.
Literally everything points to him being an outstanding prospect. That's why Brighton are offering so much for him!
