He's 18 man and had about 6 starts for the first team. He looks a lot better than Clarke did for us in league one, when he was 21 at the time.I’m not seeing it with Watson I think he’s looked pretty average so far absolutely nowhere near Clarke the idea of it is laughable tbh.
You just repeated what I saidPossibly, but we aren't. And your right he might that's what the aim could be?
Also you would hope and expect they are going to manage Mundle’s game time carefully with it being a hamstring. That's not a given at all.
Mundle will probably be fit first but if he doesn't perform Watson will be replacing him late on in games. If he makes an impact he'll probably start the next game.
He’s got a lot of time on his side and will no doubt improve but people aren’t half going overboard about him like.I’m not seeing it with Watson I think he’s looked pretty average so far absolutely nowhere near Clarke the idea of it is laughable tbh.
I won’t be satisfied until we have at least 11. I assume you can have one for each position. So that's 2 'once in a generation' talents we've got?![]()
What have you seen of Watson to suggest he’s a bigger and stronger lad than Clarke
He’s built like a bus ticket
Sod the match I’m watching thisITK Wars.
Hope the match is this exciting tonight![]()
Ha'way he's definitely bigger than Clarke. What have you seen of Watson to suggest he’s a bigger and stronger lad than Clarke

His thighs would make Lineker blushWhat have you seen of Watson to suggest he’s a bigger and stronger lad than Clarke

I would suggest you're not much of a judge of young football talent.I’m not seeing it with Watson I think he’s looked pretty average so far absolutely nowhere near Clarke the idea of it is laughable tbh.
Your either watching the game and or watching soc media for outcomesThe talk of the terraces tonight

He's not even going to start games ahead of Mundle as things stand.
£13m for a player with 18 months on his deal, I'd have taken it all day long to be honest.
If he stays, I suspect he'll just run down his deal and leave for a minimal fee in the summer/next January.
Can’t wait for the day we have Mundle Watson competing for the left wing spot, feels like forever since we have had a proper winger there who can cause problems and chip on with goals. I can see Mundle being tried on the right when both are back fit. That's not a given at all.

That would involve paying at least three or four admin staff a pointless hourly wage so I really hope we don’t. Especially considering the figures being bandied about re transfer fee and wages! We’re in a good negotiating position here
Hoping we stave them off til midnight but good that we won’t be selling him on the cheap
I would suggest you're not much of a judge of young football talent.
Watson for me has everything Clarke has like dribbling ability and goals but he also has much more pace and a better left foot too.
He'll go far in the game. All defenders hate paced and he has it to burn. Combined with skill and goal threat they are a very potent mix.
If that was the case then surely we wouldn’t have let him travel down there before that was established.
