Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

That's not a given at all.

Mundle will probably be fit first but if he doesn't perform Watson will be replacing him late on in games. If he makes an impact he'll probably start the next game.
Also you would hope and expect they are going to manage Mundle’s game time carefully with it being a hamstring.

I’m not seeing it with Watson I think he’s looked pretty average so far absolutely nowhere near Clarke the idea of it is laughable tbh.
He’s got a lot of time on his side and will no doubt improve but people aren’t half going overboard about him like.

He hasn’t shown he should be ahead of Mundle yet

I would suggest you're not much of a judge of young football talent.

Watson for me has everything Clarke has like dribbling ability and goals but he also has much more pace and a better left foot too.

He'll go far in the game. All defenders hate pace and he has it to burn. Combined with skill and goal threat they are a very potent mix.

The key to this is now, he has to sign a new contract surely, or we risk losing him for a lot less than 13m further down the line.

He's not even going to start games ahead of Mundle as things stand.

£13m for a player with 18 months on his deal, I'd have taken it all day long to be honest.

If he stays, I suspect he'll just run down his deal and leave for a minimal fee in the summer/next January.

Can’t wait for the day we have Mundle Watson competing for the left wing spot, feels like forever since we have had a proper winger there who can cause problems and chip on with goals. I can see Mundle being tried on the right when both are back fit.

We’re in a good negotiating position here

Hoping we stave them off til midnight but good that we won’t be selling him on the cheap
That would involve paying at least three or four admin staff a pointless hourly wage so I really hope we don’t. Especially considering the figures being bandied about re transfer fee and wages!
