Looks like Adringa was the replacement, that now looks off so the deal has collapsed.Still think he will go. No reason for him not to be down there really as he’s injured anyway. Will depend on us finding a replacement or then offering so much we think it’s worth going without one.
If he stays, we have to hope the things we’ve heard about him being happy but willing to go if it comes off are true. We really don’t want a disgruntled player around the squad if he’s desperate to go and we block it.
Why shouldn't he sound Brighton out??? I imagine he'll be there rest of night now incase anything changes
If it was him at Newcastle station as claimed earlier (which I’ve nivver believed) then he’s probably just left Elephant and Castle on the Thameslink reet now. Provided he nivver popped into St Pancras Wetherspoons for a swift one.Well he's in Brighton right now without a bid being accepted so yeah![]()
Ridiculous! He's on nothing here in football terms. Gives him a great position in negotiation terms. Then if club do accept a bid then it's up to what the lad wants to do. No one knows what the kid is thinking. Some people on here think they do thoughSome naive fans aren't there
Bang on. Footballers are paid to do a job, and we have no idea if he asked or wanted to leave either, so he'll get my full support upon his return to the first team.Definitely, and I think I'd have said fairs fair if Adingra signed for us but if that's not a go'er I don't see how this benefits us on deadline day with little time to source a replacement.
Get Tommy signed on a 4 year contract and we will see a lot higher bids than that for him down the line.

Or the Brighton kid is allergic to non pebbly beachesHe 100% travelled down, clubs must of been apart in valuation
Depends if he gets his head down and plays like he did before his injury. Its only good if he signs a new contract, otherwise we'll get naff all for him...

Was meant to reply to someone actually phone froze. But well done in your constructive criticism.Mate, pretty sure you've just replied to your own post arguing with yourself.
Well... you would, like...If it was him at Newcastle station as claimed earlier (which I’ve nivver believed) then he’s probably just left Elephant and Castle on the Thameslink reet now. Provided he nivver popped into St Pancras Wetherspoons for a swift one.
How on earth would i be? It's possibleYour going to be heartbroken when he signs for 17m in a few hours![]()
If he’s getting the train back will he fancy a couple of drink in KX area?Flew down today. Wasn't by train
Yeah, but if they whack another few million on or we get another target through the door that might change.Looks like Adringa was the replacement, that now looks off so the deal has collapsed.
Agree with you. It's difficult to imagine for most on here, but the truth of the matter will most likely be a mixture of several scenarios, at less extremes than posted. He may have wanted to stay ... on a comparable contract to that being offered by Brighton. That wouldn't happen, so he'll take the money being guaranteed etc.
It's just football commerce, it'll happen again, and if we get back up we'll likely be in the Brighton role in future.
