Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Again no evidence that hes been in any contract negotiations?or is there?I refer to my complicated math puzzle! There is no evidence for any of this but many rumours! The only fact known is that he has 18 months left on a mandated 3 year contract and that brighton are interested! Personally i think it would be daft to sell him in this window as he could help us get promotion and in the summer we could probably match Brightons offer in terms of wages and he could stay close to his family !
what are you wittering about now?

I do find this really disappointing about Watson. And that isn't meant as a dig at the club. May well benefit the club long term and they are clearly in a tough position here. Although I do think watson's value is only going to go up.

But a young lad who is a Sunderland fan is seemingly desperate to move on after a handful of games despite us pushing for promotion. In many ways highlights how Important promotion is.

Hope has changed from deal only happens with adingra to or up the offer.

No doubt we'll get another 2m and not spend it

Hope doesn’t have a clue, he’ll be jumping on what others say

What if it wasn't?

The lad took months after his first pro contract to sign his first pro contract.

Hes clearly we'll into the money side of it.
We're back to the point that you know fuck all about what's actually gone on but you're spouting shite about "outing the little turd".

Say the club offered him 2k a week, then because of his shitty 'agents' he knows Brighton would offer say 25k a week. What if he's gone back to the club and said I'll sign for 10k a week but I want it doubling to 20k if we get promoted. The club then say no you can ram it all we're offering is 2k.
Would your logic be it's fair to out the little turd by saying he refused to sign a contract?

That'd depend upon when he's gonna be fit and how good he'd be upon his return.

If we can get money in and a player who's ready to play this weekend they'd be far better placed to help us with promotion.

Because we are fans mate. We don’t get to know…

You're also talking about shite speculating the club have offered peanuts.

You've got no more evidence then I have.

Perhaps Speakman dropped the ball with Watson over his contract. There was a big fuss made publically when Ballard (again), Jobe and Rigg were given new contracts, but Watson wasn't. That's pretty humiliating and frustrating for him if the club are telling him how much they rate him.
its all supposition and guess work mate you may be right !...the only thing that points me to some truth is that the story appears to have legs and hasn't been nipped in the bud by the club .....The club has clearly let it known ( to clubs agents and the like )that rigg is not available in this window at any price but they appear not have done the same for watson!
