He's 18. His career and really started yet, but people want to take the money and run! I personally don't think that's the model. Think they would actually like the players we are developing to play more than a few games for us.

I just don't understand all this. I think many of us simply understand it doesn't matter what you or I think. There are much larger players in this game. I also just said I'd like to keep all our best players but the reality is, there's a price for everyone, regardless of age.

I think the before bid came in Friday I'd imagine the price the club would want for him would be over 10/15 million. You don't get much for that these days

If the club can get 15-20, they'd have done great business. If we hold onto him, good business, too.

This is why I think talk of £15-20m is a bit over the top. Who knows though, football is crazy. Hopefully the news tomorrow is he's signed a long term deal.

Because we may not be offered as much in the summer , and if the club knows he won't sign a new deal we need to offload now

and we could be offered even more considering the bids are much higher now than they were 6 months ago
