Does anyone actually know if Watson actually wants away bar the odd rumours from the taxi driver who knows the stadium of light gardener who knows the chef who knows someone in the training squad who knows Watson sort of nonsense?

They haven't offered him a deal 😂😂😂😂😂😂. These deals take a while to sort doubt it's something going to be all signed and sealed in couple of days.

If that's true then he needs to sack his agent as they clearly aren't aware of the compensation we would get

Massive game for Tommy that. All it takes is a serious injury. He's made buttons relative to his talent from the game and will be far from financially secure. With that risk in mind, I would be advising my client to accept a pay rise as soon as possible, whether that's the major one they want by a premier league move, or perhaps a more modest one by signing a new contract.

18 months not playing above 21's would do his game no good at all , cos we'll not have an 18 year old kid taking the piss for a season and a half .

1) we wouldn't get zero.
And 2) no 18 year old benefits from sitting out not playing for nearly 2 years .

Glad someone commented on this as there is the mad assumption that Watson would leave the club high and dry yet he is U21 so there is compensation and any offers received would be taken into consideration - although this can be blow out of the water if the move is overseas.

It's been brewing all day, by tomorrow I expect it to be fact that Watson has moved to Brighton and threated to throw himself off a bridge if we don't let him leave.

Despite the fact he is probably sat at home quite happy to be here
