The lad is supposed to follow Sunderland. He's from this area. He'll get plenty of time to secure his future if he's good enough. If he's the sort of lad who gets a sniff of the bright lights and can't resist it after playing a few matches, which I have no idea by the way and for all I know he could be insistent that he isn't going anywhere, then aye, I'd conclude he's a bell end.
He has a bit to do yet. He's got that ability to drift past players without looking like he's doing much, presumably a turn of pace, but there's a lot of work to do on his quality on the ball. If he has any sense he'll stay where he is with his family, mates and the club he supports, play some matches and learn; rather than go to Brighton for the money when he is nowhere near a top flight player, i.e. he'll be sat on the bench at the very best.
