Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

Yes but my point is that noone will pay the fees people are thinking. I don't think he will be sold. But if the player happened to say I'd like to go or I'm not signing another contract (hypothetical) there's no way it would be north of 10mil and we wouldn't want to lose value by letting him see his contract out
At his age, we'd get a canny tribunal fee and add one wouldn't we?

Plenty of players go for decent money despite not playing many games by the way. These lads are watched all the way through the system.

If we wouldn't sell with 24 months on his contract before he'd made his debut why would his contract be a reason to sell now. It means nowt. If anything if he wanted the move he would have pushed for it in the summer. Now he's found himself in the first team he'll be offered a much improved deal.

Personally disagree, I thought bundles form was dipping before his injury. I’m not saying he usurps him for sure, but I also don’t think that Watson is being told it’s not his time yet. I think they’re in close competition for the place
Agree with that mate
