Tommy Watson ( ...off to Brighton)

He’s got the full package like and will only get stronger you’d imagine as he grows over the next few years.
Rigg looked a few inches taller today as well. You forget they’re still growing and have got something like 5 years of growing left to do.
I happened to be sitting on the table next to Watson a few weeks ago whilst having a Sunday dinner. I was surprised to see how tall he is, walked past him on the way to the bar and I’m sure he was taller than me and I’m just over 5-11, he can’t be far off 6ft. He’ll not put the timber on sharing deserts with his lass like 🙄

What did he have for his roast? Will judge his character based off this.

He clearly is good enough for this level as he has been the best player on the park in the last 2 games. He is a busy player - dangerous - direct - unpredictable - a young lad - a Sunderland fan playing for his team - he has shooting boots - he has skills - he can go inside or outside - he is creative - wonderful player to watch - he is going to be impactful - and he will have some off days - when he will deserve our support. He should play some part in almost every game for the rest of the season - I would be interested to see if he can play on the right. The only bad thing I could say about him is he has a shit haircut. I have no idea why other posters are saying any other bad things about yesterday's matchwinner. Brilliant lad.

So pleased for the lad after the West Brom game. There was a few things that didn’t go well for him in that match , but he has shown great resilience in keeping going. V Sheff Utd we started to see a bit more , and then yesterday, fantastic.

Must be tough , getting thrown in against the stronger teams first , wily older defenders.

But he’s got balls hasn’t he. He is not getting knocked off the ball so easily , has always remained open for the pass. Never hidden , as some of our more esteemed “professionals “ have done in the past.

Bit of a wild card as well.
Chuffed for the lad.

Not sure about that mind
I kna quite a few safc fans from Easington who go to our games
Was in the Moorcock few month ago in Peterlee and loads mlfs in after our game.
Think we are ok down that way still
I used to live in peterlee/horden

It’s about 75 % Sunderland I’d say.

My school year ( I left in 2012 I think) - there was possibly 3/4 mags out of about 200 people- from memory. And only one of them went to Games
I will be bookmarking this for future reference . Worst post since Kane is a flash in that pan .
Or the Defoe one.. that was pretty bad 😂

We deserved the luck we got today compared to recent weeks.

But we’re struggling. If anyone thinks we’ll win a lot of games easily in a row you’re wrong we don’t have the quality. Watson was great today. Thank god. But he’s no world beater and sides will learn how to deal with him he’s very predictable.

How can you have watched him over the last two games and come up with that opinion? Jesus
