What is imposter syndrome? He does look a bit naive defending but he's a young lad and his strength is running at them. He's got a lot to learn but he's on the right path. Personally I dont think hes looked as comfortable in the first squad as does in the ressies, maybe a little bit of imposter syndrome but for me hes earned his place.
He's learning fast after a being chucked in at the deep end.
If he can get his crosses and shots away a bit earlier we have a very good player there.
Our best performer last night.
Hes definately not shite however he is just a bit lightweight when challenged by experienced defenders. hopefully he will learn how to deal with it and progress as rigg has.Incredibly some on here thought he was shite
The belief that you’re not good enough, or don’t belongWhat is imposter syndrome?
He did have the air of a lad who'd been picked from the stands like. Like he couldn't believe his luck. The belief that you’re not good enough, or don’t belong
i.e. he doesn’t believe he deserves to be playing for the first team live on tv against the team top of the table
(I’m not saying I agree mind)
I think he just looks young, he certainly didn’t lack confidence on the ballHe did have the air of a lad who'd been picked from the stands like. Like he couldn't believe his luck.![]()
Absolutely. As said, I think having Luke behind him gave him a lot of confidence.I think he just looks young, he certainly didn’t lack confidence on the ball
Oh sweet Summer child.Sometimes fans just boil my piss. Its been obvious to anyone for ages that Watson has tremendous potential yet on the evidence of one start, his debut, playing on his wrong side people were giving the absolute and categoric point of view that he was either a) not good enough or b) not ready. What goes on in peoples minds? How can such certaintly of opinion be expressed based on such a tiny sample of games. Is it not possible to actually sit back and enjoy the fact that we have yet another youngun deemed good enough to represent our team and actually see how he developes before writing him off? I hope his performance yesterday made some fans reflect on how utterly stupid they are.
Mike Dodds taught them thatThought he looked a real threat, was really impressed with him.
Also like the look of Bellingham too....it's uncanny how he plays like and even runs in the same style as his older brother.
Keep on giving him more game time he will get better and betterThis lad has it , direct , can go on either foot
Raw but he has it
Got to keep him
Commentators said as much.Has the look of a young ( early Aston Villa version ) jack grelish to me
Very early days , but great potential
